It was an ordinary day at their Malibu home, and Nicki and Safaree were sitting with their two daughters Alliana and Brielle watching a movie. Nicki was 35 years old and Safaree was 36. Nicki was at the best of her career right now, that is, a career in being Nicki Minaj. Safaree had a business at a store where he sold custom made shirts like the ones that he always wears, and he owned a jewelry shop. Brielle was 7 and Alliana was 5. Both of them were very smart for their age. They were sitting there watching the movie and the door bell rang. It was nearly 11 p.m. so they wondered who would be coming over so late. Safaree got up and walked over to the door. When he looked through the peephole he didn't see anyone. He opened the door and there was an envelope laying on the ground. He picked it up and looked around. There was no one in sight. He walked back inside and shut the door behind him. He walked back to the couch. "Hey nic, who the hell do you think this came from?" said Safaree handing the letter to Nicki. Nicki opened the envelope and read what was inside. "What the hell!?" Nicki read the letter looking confused. She threw it at Sb. "What the hell Safaree? Explain. Is this true?" Sb grabbed the letter and read it. He got up and followed Nicki to their bedroom. By this point both of the kids had fallen asleep watching the movie. "Nicki, I don't know who the hell put this there, but it's not true." Nicki looked pissed. "Whatever Safaree, I believe you. I'm not going to just believe a mysterious letter that shows up on my doorstep." Safaree just sighed and got in bed. Nicki turned around and looked at him. "I hope you know you ain't going to bed yet." "why not?" "The girls are asleep in front of the tv. Take them to their rooms." Safaree sighed and got up and walked to the living room. He walked in and only Brielle was still laying there. He picked her up and carried her to her room and laid her gently in her bed and pulled the covers over her. She never moved. He walked back downstairs looking for Alliana. As he was walking by the kitchen he saw her standing on the counter. She had pulled a chair up to it and had climbed up and was trying to reach the candy that was on top of the fridge. He just decided to tell Nicki because he was tired and wasn't in the mood to deal with it. He walked back into the bedroom and saw Nicki laying awake watching Judge Judy. "Your daughter is on the counter going through the candy." "Did you get her?" "No" "Why not?" Nicki sat up in bed. "I was tired Nic, damn. Can't you handle it." She got up and hit Safaree with a pillow. "Coon." she said to herslf walking out of the room. She walked in and looked in the kitchen. Alliana wasn't in there and the chair was pushed up to the table where it was supposed to be. She saw candy wrappers leading up the stairs. She followed them until she got right outside of Alliana's room. She walked in and Alliana wasn't in her bed. She walked over to the closet and saw Alliana sitting in her closet with the whole bowl of candy eating it. "Alliana, are you supposed to have that?" "No." "Then why do you?" "I...I...I...uhh... I don't know." she looked like she was about to cry. "Give it here." Alliana handed over the bowl of candy. Nicki grabbed her hand and walked her over to her bed. When Nicki pulled back the covers, there was even more candy under her blankets that she had obviously been trying to hide. "Alliana!" Nicki gathered the candy up and put it back in the bowl. "I'm sorry mommy." "Do you have any more?" "No." "Are you lying." Alliana looked down at her feet and didn't say anything. "Alliana, if I find out you have more candy you're going to be in trouble, it's late and you know you have to ask to get any candy from that bowl." "There's more in that drawer over there mommy." Alliana pointed to a stand next to her bed. "Okay, thank you for telling me. Now get in bed." Alliana climbed in bed and Nicki tucked her in and said goodnight. Nicki walked back downstairs and made sure the doors were locked and turned off the lights. She walked over to the kitchen table where the mysterious letter was laying and she read it again. "He is cheating. Don't believe a thing he says. Don't say I didn't warn you." and it was signed by no one. Nicki just shook her head. "Damn kids probably think it's funny to send out letters like that" Nicki mumbled under her breath. Meanwhile, Safaree lay in bed thinking to himself. "I hope she doesn't find out the truth. Should I tell her and accept the consequences? Could this ruin everything?" He thought it all over until he heard Nicki walk back in and get in be beside him...................
